Music Ministry Philosophy
The primary objective of the Music Department is to promote worship through the use of musical talents. We strive to teach sound musical practices and techniques in an encouraging, Christian environment. While we recognize that an integral component of music is performance, we stress that expression through music is an act of praise and an offering of gratitude to God.

Chancel Choir
The choir of approximately 20 voices is open to all who enjoy singing. The choir enjoys presenting a wide variety of music styles. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 8:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Diana Reinert is the director.

Bell Choir
Messiah Church has a 4-octave set of Schulmerich English Handbells. The Bell Choir plays on various occasions during worship and in concerts throughout the year. Ronda Washinger leads rehearsals on Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
