We have started our annual Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox ministry. There are shoeboxes, shoebox labels and information available at each exit of the sanctuary and in Fellowship Hall. National Collection Week is November 13-20, 2022. Please have filled shoeboxes placed in the front corner of the sanctuary by Sunday, November 19th, which is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Ideas to pack shoeboxes and donate:

SHOEBOX SUPPLY HOUSE: Located at 709 Marden Avenue (right off Lurgan Ave), Shippensburg PA 17257. This provides extremely cost-effective ways to fill shoeboxes. You can fill and ship a shoebox for the low cost of $17.50. Check the Supply House for operating schedule. If you use the supply house to fill your boxes, you can simply leave it there and let them know it should be counted toward Messiah UMC Shippensburg’s total. They will tell us the total they collected on Messiah’s behalf.
